Frequently Asked Questions

How much does therapy cost?

Individual sessions are $110 for 50 minutes, and sessions with couples, polycules and families are $150. I accept credit and debit cards, with payment made at the end of our session. I also reserve a limited number of sliding-scale spots based on equity.

Do you accept insurance?

I am not currently on any insurance panels. However, as an out-of-network provider, I can give you you a receipt (called a superbill) that you can send to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check directly with your insurance company to confirm your eligibility and coverage.

How often do we meet?

Consistency is an important part of the therapeutic process, so my policy is to meet weekly. That said, life happens, and I will do my best to accommodate any necessary reschedules.

I’m new to therapy—what can I expect?

In our first session, I’ll ask about what brings you here, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope to get out of therapy. This helps us both get a sense of whether we’re a good fit and how we might work together. Therapy can sometimes feel challenging, and it’s normal to feel a bit worse before things start to improve. If you ever notice resistance or hesitation, we’ll explore it together and find ways to support you—even if that means helping you connect with someone who’s a better match.

In what languages do you offer therapy?

I offer therapy in English. Spanish and Portuguese.
